International designers, celebrities, buyers and media are specially invited for the event which is getting recognition on an international scale. The mission of JFW is to prepare designers to face the challenges of the industry and to meet the aspirations of local as well as international buyers. Last year, Tex Saverio became a rage in Indonesia; he was even asked to design clothes for Lady Gaga for a fashion shoot for magazines. This year’s week-long mega event may catapult an up and coming designer to an international scenario.
