Crystal Anklets – Making the Most out of Them

Crystal anklets can be great pieces to add to your jewelry collection, and you can get them in just about every color imaginable. They present small feminine touches that can bring your footwear to life if you let them. A lot of people don’t even think about emphasizing their anklets though. They throw them on and head out the door. If you want to get the most out of your ankle jewelry, you need to do a bit more than that. Here are some tips that you can use to make sure you actually enjoy your anklets to the fullest.

You should actually be able to see your crystal anklets during the day. If you have pants or a long skirt covering the anklet you want to wear, there is really no point in wearing it. You should have on shorts or a short skirt to draw attention to your feet. That way people will notice your lovely legs and the piece of jewelry that adorns them. Make sure that the top of your shoes do not cover where the anklet is to go. Tennis shoes tend to be a little too bulky for the task. Sleek heels will be your best bet.

It is always a good idea to paint your toes if you want to accentuate your crystal anklets. You can paint them whatever color you would like, but it may be best to paint them the same color as the crystal so everything ties together. You could also do a complementary color, which would be the opposite one on the color wheel. This will draw attention by contrast. Make sure that your feet are well groomed so that you do not draw attention to an unpleasant part of your body. You want people to see the best in you.

You can always pair crystal anklets with toe rings for an added level of feminine perfection. You can buy toe rings in sets to match the anklets exactly, or you could pick out something similar that is still a unique element. Then if you were in a situation where you maybe had pants and open toed shoes, you could still have glamour on your feet without wearing an anklet. There are a million things you can do with these pieces of jewelry, so just find something you like and start planning outfits around it. You will be having fun in no time.
