LiLu is one of those rare girls that is pretty and funny, yet totally likable!

I can't think of another blog that has caused me to laugh so hard that fluids have come out of my nose on more than one occasion.

She's the kind of girl that makes you want to buy her a beer. The kind of girl that you just want to hang out with, because you can tell that she is a solid friend.

I love reading about her exploits in DC.

She even gave an ode to the tater tots in the area here.

I asked LiLu 3 questions about Washington DC
*If you must recommend one restaurant, which one would it be and why?
"Matchbox in Chinatown is fun, affordable, in the middle of the city, and they have the BEST damn sliders and pizza. What more can you ask for? Plus, then you're close to the National Mall and most of the museums- added bonus for any tourist."
*When you have an out of town guest, what is the one thing that you encourage them to experience in DC?
"I love, love love the live music at Madame's Organ in Adams Morgan. It's 7 nights a week, and it's always good. The dive bar has better-than-average barfood, and the decor is... ahem... interesting. Suffice to say, I wouldn't miss it."
"Second would be to catch a show at the DC Improv downtown. $20 for someone to make me laugh for two hours while I drink booze? Done and DONE."
*What type of clothing do you wear in early December?
"Today was 40 degrees, my love. Long coat, scarf, hat- the works."
"Oh, and BOOTS! Never forget the boots!"
